Boys Varsity Track, Girls Varsity Track · 10 Athletes Qualify for State Meet


10 Potter’s House athletes qualified for 7 different events during the MHSAA Division 4 regionals at Marion High School last Saturday. A few have been here before but this is a first for 7 of the 10 qualifiers including 4 freshman. Some notables are senior Toby Reinsma who finished 1st overall in regionals in all three of his events and sophomore Gift Omakpo who finished 1st overall in both the 100 and 300 M hurdles and finished second in the 4×400 relay. The State Meet will take place on Saturday, June 1 at 9:00 AM at Baldwin Street middle school in Hudsonville.

Boys 4 x 800 Relay – finished 1st overall at regionals with a time of 8:43.43

Toby Reinsma (Sr), Daniel Fesahaye (Fr.), Zach Reinsma (Fr.), and Caleb Stout (Jr.)

Girls 100 M Hurdles: Gift Omakpo (So.) – finished 1st overall with a time of 17.73

Girls 300 M Hurdles: Gift Omakpo – finished 1st overallĀ  with a time of 51.88

Girls 400 M Run: Ella Lubberts (Jr.) – finished 2nd overall with a time of 1:05.14

Boys 800 M Run: Toby Reinsma (Sr.) – finished 1st overall with a time of 2:01.63 (came in first by .28 seconds)

Girls 4 x 400 Relay – finished 2nd overall with a time of 4:31.61
