Starting in 2019, the MHSAA will begin seeding the top two teams in each district in soccer and basketball (boys and girls). Their goal is to have the most competitive game take place in the district finals. The MHSAA uses MPR, Michigan Power Ratings, in order to rank the top two teams in each district. To find out more about how the MPR rating is calculated, click here. In the first year, the Potter’s House boys varsity soccer team earned the #2 spot with an MPR rating of .570. Calvin Christian earned the top spot in the district with a rating of .608. Potter’s House will play the winner of Hope Academy and Tri Unity Christian on Tuesday, October 15 at 5:00 PM (located TBD). On the other side of the bracket, Northpointe will host Zion Christian and the winner of that game will go on to play Calvin Christian. The district finals will be on Thursday, October 17 at 5:00 PM at Northpointe Christian.
